There is hope for health-public health and education partnerships can=20
effectively promote programs and policies that focus on physical activity,=20
healthy eating and tobacco use prevention. Featuring national leaders from=20
both public health and education, this interactive satellite conference will=

provide an update on the status of coordinated school health programs, an=20
overview of the policies and resources of national education organizations,=20
and the opportunity to learn from public health and education professionals=20
who are =A0establishing productive partnerships.


Objectives
After the satellite broadcast, participants will be able to:
=B7 Describe the status of school health programs at the national, state and=

local levels
=B7 Describe the multiple decision making levels and structures of public=20
education at the state and local levels
=B7 Identify appropriate school health contacts for physical activity,=20
nutrition and tobacco at the state and local levels
