Andrea
Here are some references for you.
NYU has a K-12 school health section on the job site.
Below is also the link for the Amer School Health Assoc.
They might have links.
I would also do a search for general education resources on the internet.
The following publications are for K-12 teachers and they have internet
sites:
Teacher Magazine & Education Week, Education Leadership, Youth Today.
Good Luck
Debra

Hello fellow Health colleagues,
My name is Andrea Bumgarner and I am a recent graduate of Eastern
Illinois University with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Education. With this
degree I am certified to teach health for grades 6-12 in the school systems
as well. I must admit that I thought finding a job in the health field would
be fairly easy, but I have found that assumption to be a bit off the mark.
I have received many of the messages that I have been sent through this
directory, and if anyone could assist me I would be very appreciative. I
recently relocated after getting married and am searching for a position as
a health educator, prevention specialist, etc, in the health field in the
Charleston and Champaign-Urbana area and I am willing to travel. If you can
be of assistance, you will find my contact information at the bottom of this
message.

Thank you for all your help.

Sincerely,

Andrea Bumgarner
