Hi Everyone,
I'm looking to purchase books that contain icebreakers, openers, closers, energizers, and
the like for jazzing up educational sessions and trainings. I found two that my
organization might purchase, but I'd like to hear that they were useful to others before
we do. Here are the two that I found:
"201 Icebreakers, Group Mixers, Warm-ups, Energizers, and Playful Activities" by
Edie West
"Great Session Openers Closers and Energizers" by Marlene Caroselli.
Can anyone recommend for or against these titles? Other suggestions?
Thanks!

Shelly,
I like "Playing Along: 37 Group Learning Activities Borrowed From
Improvisational Theater" by Izzy Gesell
And:
"Instant Icebreakers: 50 Powerful Catalysts for Group Interaction and
High Impact Learning." by Nancy Loving Tubesing.
Good Luck,

Shelly,
First, let me suggest that you visit the Bob Pike
Group website at www.bobpikegroup.com. I have
attended several training sessions that his group
conducts and they are wonderful. However, you do not
have to attend a session to gain valuable knowledge
from this group. On their website they have many
books and resources listed that can make your entire
training or meeting more exciting, memorable, and
interactive.
In good health,
