For Beverly Schwartz,

Try this:
Connel DB, Turner RR & Mason EF (1985, October) Summary of findings of the
school health education evaluation: Health Promotion effectiveness,
implementation, and costs. Journal of School Health 55(8), 316-321.

There is an interesting discussion of the amount of instruction hours
necessary for changing program specific knowldge, incidental knowledge,
attitudes and behavior.
