Allison,
First, I CAN make the assumption that the sender is a member of the
listserv, because I have configured the system to only allow subscribers to
send such messages.
Second, how would I possibly know that the email you wanted unsubscribed to
was completely different than the one you sent to me. When you subscribed
you received a memo (telling you not to delete) informing you on the proper
way to unsubscribe.
Third,
I don't need to practice better customer service skills because the HEDIR
subscribers are NOT my customers. There is NO charge to use this service.
Fourth...you too have a great day! I always have a great day...despite
many nuisances regarding the use of the HEDIR.

I apologize for the inconvenience of having sent two emails to the HEDIR
regarding an individual requesting to be dropped. I don't mind the
occasional request to be dropped over the HEDIR but this particular one was
not appropriate.
I just wanted to let everybody know that I do normally handle these without
this much incident.
