Please accept my apologies for the cross posting.
Friends,
A couple of updates that I hope you find useful:
1. Now you can pre-register for face-to-face videoconferencing "Education
for Health" CEU (and CHES CECHs) courses @
http://healthbehavior.com/CHESCECHs.shtml. We will be accepting credit card
payments within the month.
-------
* READ THIS: I have one (1) copy of VIDEOLINK PRO by SmithMicro , a Mac
Software application, which allows face-to-face videoconferencing. It is
unopened, new and FREE to the winner. (Comes in Windows flavor as well). I
will be using this software for on line courses. This single copy is TOTALLY
FREE. I will even pay for shipping. You're not even obligated to take any of
our videoconferencing courses. There are, however, two issues you have to
deal with:
1) You must register online @ http://healthbehavior.com/CHESCECHs.shtml to
win; and,
2) I ONLY HAVE ONE COPY. More than 3,000 folks will receive this message.
Many will not even bother to read it, and then many have Windows computers.
Your chances are pretty good!
-------
2. 156 health educators, nurses and other health professionals have logged
on to and joined (TOTALLY FREE!) the International Health Promotion and
Wellness Web Database, @ http://healthbehavior.com/provider.shtml
-------
READ THIS: If you have already registered, be sure to EDIT YOUR WEB PAGE:
- Go to http://healthbehavior.com/provider.shtml
- Click on Login and Search
- Enter your log in name and password
- click on the "Edit" button to add and change your web page data.
-------
3. Over 425 votes (thank you all!) have been cast for the first inductees
into the National Health Education Hall of Fame, @
http://healthbehavior.com/halloffame.shtml Need to survey team members or
students? Check out our online survey service @
http://healthbehavior.com/SamplePrincipalSurvey.shtml
4. You can now join, at no cost or obligation (fees will come later after we
are organized, but you can decline at any time), the American Health
Education Association (AHEA) @ http://healthbehavior.com/AHEA.shtml
24 folks took the time (thank you all!) to complete the survey also found on
this page.
Happy New Year to all.
Sincerely,
Michael

Subject: physical activity health messages for at risk women

HEDIR Colleagues -
Looking for input on what health messages are effective to use with at risk
women to encourage them to becoming physically active. Particularly when they
are in the precontemplation phase and may not even realize that physical
activity doesn't necessarily mean running 3 miles a day. Any ideas???
Thanks,
