Greetings HEDIR Users,

Dr. Marge Murray-Davis, and I, within the Department of Health Science at Minnesota State University, are working on developing a course entitled,
MENTAL HEALTH IN THE CLASSROOM.

We are searching for a textbook for the course. It will be taught to UG majors, primarily in School Health Education.

We would appreciate your response in making suggestions to us.

Many thanks,

This question was brought up in the office the other day, I'm just looking
for different opinions:

Disease cannot be attributed to any one cause.

Thoughts?

Brief comment on that question..........[if anyone would like further
discussion on this, please email me personally]

Absolutely true!
Human beings are complex systems themselves operating in systematic ways, in
systematic patterns, in systematic societies, and in a systematic world.
Everything is reliant on each other.

My suggestion for understanding any health or disease (which labeling that
is on its own spectrum)....
is to always think of it in terms of having roots in the following aspects:
Physical, Emotional, Spiritual, Social, Intellectual, & Environmental
