Yvonne:
I would suggest you consult the National College Health Assessment.
This survey collects valuable information on college student health
behaviors, perceptions and attitudes. There is a good amount of sexual
health data.
Contact E. Victor Leino - ACHA National Office - 410-859-1500 or
evl@acha.org
I use the survey on my campus and I learn a great deal!
In health,
Michael

I am working on an approach to the local school board to make all of our
county's schools 100% tobacco free. This is an especially sensitive
subject, in an area where some teachers conduct class with spit tobacco
in their mouth. Most community members are closely connected with
someone who grows tobacco. There is support from much of the school
staff, but it is such a "tender" subject most supporters worry more
about offending tobacco users. Research for reasons to be tobacco free
are pretty easy to find. A five minute search through ALA and CDC
offered a lot. Does anyone have words of wisdom? Experiences in
getting a policy like this passed in their county? Samples of tobacco
free policies? Ways to approach?
Please feel free to contact me directly.
Thanks in advance,
