Hi all,

I'm hoping somebody can direct me where to search for small grants for
professional development.  I just recently graduated and my thesis
abstract was accepted at a conference.  As I just said---I just
graduated and I work for the state, so I don't have to tell you that I'm
financially challenged.  I'm hoping to find a small grant to cover
conference registration costs and accomodations.  (I already tried to
have the conference fee waived, but no go on that.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you,  Susanne

Dear HEDIR,
Deep in the recesses of my memory is an idea for using Chinese food
take-out boxes as a visual for explaining the size differences between
water molecules, sperm and HIV.  Does anyone remember the details?
