Here are the responses I received regarding websites
that provide detailed information about health
education program evaluations (from design to
outcomes). Much thanks to those who provided the
information listed here:

Promising Practices Network

I would also recommend the following that illustrate
the importance of community and school climate (beyond
programming:

A great evaluation resource is CDC Evaluation Working
Group

Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs
(http://www.jhuccp.org)

The Communication Initiative (http://www.comminit.com)

Center for Substance Abuse Prevention has a listing of
their proven programs and so does the Department of
Education, Centers for Disease Control and ONDCP.
Most of these are going to be in relation to drug
prevention programs.

Colleagues:
I have been asked to teach Consumer Economics (for health and family &

have any suggestions for good texts, web sites, and any other resources?
Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks very much
