Dear Mark,

First, I hope that all is going well with yourself. All is quite well in New Jersey. Our program is in the process of examining the dual certification (Health & Physical Education) program and how it can be improved from a health perspective. Since the current program is 75% Physical Education and a mere 25% Health Education, it is necessary for us to re-balance this inequity. Unfortunately, other dual certification programs in the state of New Jersey are as bad, if not worse, hence I am in search of a "model" dual certification program which I can share with our dean. This will demonstrate that such programs which are more equal do exist which prepare students to not merely be dually certified, but more importantly dually "qualified". If you are aware of such programs I would be most grateful if you can share these institutions with myself so I can examine these programs. Your assistance is most appreciated and will prove most helpful in the re-structuring of our program. If Perhaps, this message would prove useful to be posted on the HeDir. Again, thank-you in advance and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Be well and have yourself a wonderful day. I'll be in touch soon regarding AAHPERD/Chicago.
