GAO Reports on Including Students with Disabilities in Academic Assessments:
The General Accountability Office (GAO) reported this week on how states and school systems are handling one of the thorniest issues in the No Child Left Behind Act-a requirement in the federal law that students with disabilities must take the same grade-level assessments of academic progress as regular students.
