Faculty Development Institute
AAHE, in collaboration with NASPE, will be hosting the 2nd Annual Faculty
Development Institute on September 29 - October 1, 2005 at the National
Conference Center in Lansdowne, Virginia, which is approximately 12 miles from
Washington Dulles International Airport. The institute will provide 4 workshops
that will focus on faculty and staff development in the following
areas:
* Standards-based Health Education & Performance Assessment
* Rubrics Development
* AAHE/NCATE University Preparation
* NASPE/NCATE PETE Program Report Preparation Workshop and Reviewer
Training - Initial and Advanced Standards
Continuing education credit, including CHES credit, will be offered. Each
workshop is limited to the 40 participants. For registration information, please
