CHHCS News Alert -- June 10, 2005
Update on Chlamydia Infections:
Chlamydia trachomatis is the most commonly reported sexually transmitted disease
in the United States, but even the current estimates of 2.8 million infections
annually may be too low, judging by the experience of one state that by law
requires both labs and health care providers to report evidence of chlamydia
infection within 24 hours.
