Dear Collegues:
This very issue (ethics re: a survey) is the very thing I want to see
resurrected in our discipline-Ethical Protocol I feel (strongly) that it doesn't
matter when a survey was sent, who gets a dollar in the first or second mailing
but what the IRB of the institution states re: protocol is the critical
point-The protocol/institutional standard is what should be supported and
mandated (I've only used the "M"
word once since the Nov. election:)
Ethics and professionalism are one of my areas of passion and students are
begging for case study analysis, etc. in ALL of my courses-If anyone is
interested in a prospective study, book idea, etc. please let me know-I will
also be in Chicago in April-
I would encourage a "blogging" of this issue above-and then a follow-up to the
appropriate entities.
Your Thoughts/comments?
Regards, Kathleen
