Dear Colleagues:
The National Certification Commission of NAADAC the Association of Addiction
Professionals is interested in determining the feasibility of initiating a
professional credentialing process for individuals involved in alcohol,
tobacco or other drug (ATOD) prevention programming. A survey has been
constructed to assess various aspects of the certification process and if
you have worked in this area, we are anxious to hear your opinions.
We are also asking for your assistance in identifying and inviting other
appropriate individuals to complete the survey. Although, the instrument is
being distributed to specific populations we are asking a network of
professionals to participate in a modified snowball sampling methodology.
Whether or not you respond to the survey, we ask that you forward this
invitation to any individuals who you know are involved in ATOD prevention
and also ask these individuals to pass the email on to others.
International respondents are also encouraged and we welcome any opportunity
to have this email forwarded to professionals in other countries. Your
assistance in this matter will allow prevention specialist worldwide to
provide input on the credentialing process.
To access the survey, please go to the following link:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=945501615698
Thank you for your participation and if you have any questions about this
survey please direct them to the email address below.
