CALL FOR MANUSCRIPTS: STUDENT THESES AND PROJECTS Californian Journal of Health Promotion (
http://www.cjhp.org) Volume 5 Issue 2 June 2007SUBMISSION DEADLINE: APRIL 1, 2007
Part of the June 2007 issue of the Californian Journal of Health Promotion will be devoted to Student Theses and Projects. The Call is not limited to graduate student works. Outstanding senior theses may also be submitted, but those manuscripts must be co-authored by a faculty member.
All graduate students (and graduates within the past three years) with majors in health education, health promotion, school health, public health, health behavior, or related fields are encouraged to streamline (e.g., leave out insignificant tables and figures) their theses or projects for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Faculty members are encouraged to co-author papers (second author) with recent graduates when appropriate. Qualitative and program evaluation studies are also desired for this issue. Once the manuscript is streamlined, please circulate the manuscript to faculty and practitioners to peer-review before submitting it to our journal.
For author guidelines, please see our web site at
http://www.cjhp.org.Authors MUST identify the faculty who reviewed and approved the thesis/project and MUST provide a contact e-mail of the committee chair or another committee member. Also, all tables must be in MS Word Tables format (no tabbing). Please do not combine multiple lines for each cell.
The manuscript must not contain footnotes or endnotes. PowerPoint presentations, audio clips, and video clips are welcomed additions to the manuscript. Please see our guidelines for references.
For students graduating in May or June 2007, manuscripts will be accepted until June 30, 2007. The CJHP Volume 5 Issue 2 is an open issue through summer 2007, thus, late submissions (for May/June graduates
only) will be added to the issue as they are accepted for publication.

Greetings.
As the semester ends for many of the universities, I would like to remind students of the following:
If you joined the HEDIR as part of a course assignment and do not wish to be involved after this semester, please send ME an email (kittle@siu.edu) requesting to be removed. Please do not send this request over the HEDIR.
Thanks.
