Jeffery,
There are several resources you can use for developing tobacco cessation (and prevention) initiatives.
The gold standard is the Public Health Service guidelines which can be found at http://www.surgeongeneral.gov/tobacco/. You can download documents, clinician resources, etc from that site, or you can order hard copies.
The CDC's website http://www.cdc.gov/tobacco/ not only has tons of information, but also has links that will take you lots of good places.
Also, the Tobacco Technical Assistance Consortium http://www.ttac.org/, has great information.
The site that is most specific to communities of color is the Praxis Project, http://www.thepraxisproject.org/about.html.
There is an enormous amount of information already developed, which makes it a lot easier than having to start from scratch in developing an initiative.
Hope this helps.

Greetings-

I am interested in gathering information from community health education programs related to how the internship process and internship coordinator are evaluated. Currently, our interns are evaluated by their supervisors and interns evaluate their sites, but we are lacking a suitable overall evaluation of the internship program and the coordinator. I appreciate any insight you have regarding this issue.
