Good day!
I need help with looking for employment sources for Health Education. If anyone knows of a list serve or website that is a little more accurate than the normal monster and hot job( which have been helpful but not successful) I'd greatly appreciate it. I am in dire need of employment and have invested so much into this field. I am CHES Certified which I thought would have, but hasn't thus far.

Thanks in Advance,

Meredith Talford BSW MPH CHES

Meredith,

There are several health education employment websites available. First, since you are CHES, check the job bank on the NCHEC website. Also, the Rollins School of Public Health @ Emory has a wonderful website--however, take the option of searching by city. I have found in the past that when you do a search by State, some of the postings do not come up, but when the City search is done, it is more thorough. Depending on where you live, check the website for the local or state DOH or other related departments. For example, here in NYC, I have checked the NYC DOH, NYS DOH and since I work with older adults, I have also checked the city and state departments for the aging.

Hope this helps! Good luck with your search!
