Hi everyone,

I hope your summer is proving both productive and fun. As Chair of the CNHEO Ethics Task Force I am writing to solicit your help in getting individual health educators to complete a survey on ethics as well as to have an institutional representative (department chair) complete one for institutions. This data will aid the Task Force in making its final recommendations early in 2007. Below is some additional information.

Many thanks for your assistance!

Ethics Surveys Launched for Health Educators and Faculty

Tell Us What YOU Think!

What do you think about ethics and your ethical training in health education? How often do you encounter unethical behavior and what do you think should be done about it? What, how, and by whom is ethics taught in contemporary professional preparation programs in health education?

Please take 10-15 minutes to complete these surveys:

For All Health Educators -

http://www.zoomerang.com/survey.zgi?p=WEB225GGKS6X6C

For Health Education Faculty -

http://www.zoomerang.com/survey.zgi?p=WEB225GGNQ6YXQ

(note: 1 survey per institution - preferably completed by dept chair).

Results will be shared with SOPHE as well as with the Coalition of National Health Education Organizations' National Ethics Taskforce.

Please take the time to complete these surveys, regardless of your

membership(s) in any particular organization. Results will be reported in the aggregate. Note that IRB approval has been granted for these surveys by East Stroudsburg University.
