For the 14th year, the National Inhalant Prevention Coalition is calling
attention to use of inhalants by young children as a major and often fatal drug
problem.

President Names Eschenbach to Head FDA but Confirmation Is Uncertain:
President Bush yesterday named Dr. Andrew von Eschenbach to head the federal
Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Eschenbach has been serving as acting FDA
commissioner since last September, when Dr. Lester Crawford abruptly resigned as
commissioner just months after the Senate had confirmed his nomination to the
post.
