TB Declines in U.S. But Drug Resistance Increases:
Tuberculosis is rare in the United States, but when it does occur, the disease is increasingly resistant to the drugs that have previously been used to treat it, according to a statement from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued as part of a worldwide commemoration of World TB Day March 24.
