Hello HEDIR
I am in the process of gathering recent, 2004-2006, resources for women's
health, if you know of any updated videos, dvds, or websites please let me know.
I am also interested in syllabi for Women's Health Courses or course pak ideas.
Thank you for your help. I will be more than happy to share the final list of
resources with anyone.

In the fall of 2004, the U.S. Surgeon General issued a report on Bone Health and
Osteoporosis that voiced concern about the lack of awareness among the public
and health care professionals about the impact of osteoporosis and bone
diseases. =20
=20
With an escalating federal deficit demanding difficult choices; Congress setting
legislative agendas for the year ahead; and continuing progress in osteoporosis
research and care, it is more important than ever that trained advocates speak
out on Capitol Hill, in state houses across the nation, and within the health
and scientific communities to help keep our bone health priorities for
prevention, education, quality health care, research, and influence in the
forefront. =20
=20
The NOF Strong Voices for Strong Bones Advocacy Training Meeting will bring
together citizens in Colorado and the surrounding region who are dedicated to
advancing osteoporosis on the public health policy agenda.
Through this meeting and other programs, NOF reaffirms its commitment to build
strong advocates for osteoporosis and bone health issues and provides
participants an opportunity to be more active in the fight against osteoporosis.

This forum offers the opportunity to learn from experts and participate in
