Greetings HEDIRites,
Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving break.
Normally this announcement isn't sent until after the first of the year, BUT, AAHE's conference is scheduled early in March next year and we wanted to have the selection chosen by the end of February.
This is formal announcement for nominations for the AAHE/HEDIR Technology Award. More information about this can be found at
http://www.hedir.org/2007award.htm. The purpose of this award is to recognize a health educator, or a group, who has made outstanding contributions or who has transformed the profession of health education through technology.Nominations must be submitted by January 20, 2007.
Folks, if you know of somebody worthy of this award, please consider nominating them. There are many, many health educators, who have done amazing things with technology. Many of these individuals are not necessarily national recognized, but rather work diligently in their environment to advance the profession. If anybody knows who is doing what in technology, people on the HEDIR will know.
Please considering nominating somebody who you think would be worthy of this award.
