Subject: getting back into health education

Hey all, I used to be very active in health education years ago. About 6 or 7 years ago, I decided to go back to working in clinical practice in the hospital setting. I am an RN with a master's in health eduation and master's in public health (community health ed.). I have been working in the maternal/child health area as a neonatal icu nurse, both taking care of critical infants and educating their parents. I would like to get back into the community again. My former professors have since retired, and I'm living in a different part of the country now. I wanted to see if there is anyone here from Delaware or on the Delmarva peninsula that can point me in the right direction to get back in the game. I'm still working in the hospital setting full time, but I am willing to work a part time/per diem/volunteer job to get functioning as a community educator again. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Patty Houston, RN, MPH, M.Ed.
