Assistant Professor of Health Education/Health Promotion

Individual will teach a variety of undergraduate courses in health education/ health promotion; advise students about academic programs; coordinate and supervise health promotion and health education internships; participate in research and professional growth activities; provide service to both the university and community; serve on undergraduate and graduate project committees actively participate in program assessment and program development

Minimum requirements: an earned doctorate at time of appointment in Health Education, Health Promotion, School Health, or Public Health with an emphasis in health education; minimum of two years successful experience teaching health education in any of the following settings:

university, school, worksite, community, clinical. Must be a "Certified Health Education Specialist" (CHES).

Preferred qualifications: demonstrated evidence of teaching a variety of health education/health promotion courses; record of scholarly achievements and desire for continued involvement; computer literacy and competencies for teaching and research; evidence of service to the community or college/university as a health educator; indication of academic advising of majors, graduate students, etc; demonstrated experience working with interns in the school, community, worksite or clinical settings; effective interpersonal and communication skills; commitment to relevant multi-cultural issues and diversity.

I recall one of our journals publishes a list of all institutions of higher education that have a health education or promotion major.

Can someone help with the resource?

Specifically, I am looking for all institutions of higher ed that offer Worksite Health Promotion degree programs.
