Folks,
After a 2 year hiatus, the AAHE/HEDIR Technology Award Luncheon will once again be held during the APHA conference. This year we'll be having the luncheon on Monday, November 5 from 11:30 to 1:00-location not ready to be announced (but close to the convention center). If you are planning on attending APHA and would like to attend this year's luncheon keep your eyes open for the opportunity to sign up. We have a limit on the number of people who can have the luncheon (although in the past we have had others who just wanted to hear the speakers). More information will follow. This year's luncheon is sponsoring by Pearson Publishing.
We will be sending out a request for tickets within the next week or so.

Would anyone be interested in an online group to discuss working issues? I = recently started an outreach and education program in one on New York city'= s hospitals. The program involves educational sessions in the community as = well as education to patients. I want to increase and improve the work I'm = doing by talking with other people in a a hospital or municipal setting. I= was inspired to start a group by hearing about social workers who often me= et to discuss cases, problem solve, etc. For lack of a better word, I'm usi= ng "support" which could be accurate nonetheless. I don't have a system in = place yet to do run the group but was given a few leads by Mark Kittleson. = =20 =20 Angela StangaronePatient Care and Outreach CoordinatorBellevue Parkinson An= d Movement Disorder CenterBellevue HospitalNew York, NYangela.stangarone@be= llevue.nychhc.org _________________________________________________________________
