Hello
Next Fall, I am teaching an undergraduate course that focuses on the meaning, measurement and determinants of health. Last time, the course had 35 students from 8-10 disciplines, years 1-5, and ages 16-58. We are teaching a new section limited to 1st and 2nd year students from multiple departments and faculties. Class activities include lectures, videos, community guests, fun, community-service learning projects, and a final exam.
Does anyone know of any books or textbooks that deal with population health, health promotion, determinants of health and would be suitable for 1st-year students. (Suggestions for other relevant age-appropriate resources would also be appreciated)
Thanks Jim

Hello HEDIR,
Does anyone know anything about the online doctorate degree in health education offer by A.T. Still University? One of our instructor is looking into enrolling on it beginning this fall. Based on my initial review of the course, it does not look anything like health education...please take a look. Programs like this can give the health education profession a bad name...

Are there any other Universities offering doctorate online degrees?
Thanks for your input.
