Subject: Call for Reviewers

Reviewer Request....

As the number of manuscript submissions increases, the Am J Health Behav is always looking for quality reviewers for the journal....currently, we have over 450 reviewers from throughout the world.  Editors from all continents (ok, we don't have an Editor from Antarctica). The journal has a circulation that spans all 50 states and 38 foreign countries.

We've had an impact factor for several years that continues to increase and are indexed in Index Medicus....

Moreover, if selected to the Review Board, your name would appear in every issue of the journal.  You would not receive more than 2 manuscript to review per a 12-month period.

If you have experience publishing manuscripts (at lest 10 articles) and are interested in reviewing for the journal , please go to our web site (which is being updated) and submit your application at the Reviewer link under Call for Reviewers. Be sure to forward, separately, to me a copy of your CV.

Hope you're all having a great summer.

Subject:  Call for Abstracts

Dear AAHB Members and Friends:

Please consider submitting an abstract for presentation during a poster session at the 2009 American Academy of Health Behavior (AAHB) Meeting in Hilton Head, South Carolina, March 8-11, 2009.

AAHB will be accepting submissions until October 17th, 2008 at 11:59 pm Eastern Time via the following website: http://www.aahb.org/abstracts.  Non-Members are encouraged to submit abstracts.  The disposition of the abstract will be notified by November 17th, 2008.

If your abstract is accepted, it is expected that you or a co-author will register for the conference and present the poster.  Please note that if your poster is accepted and fail to show for that session, the poster will not be displayed and your privileges for abstract review will be withdrawn for 2 years.

AAHB members and those who attended a recent AAHB annual meeting will be given special consideration.  We are particularly interested in abstracts describing original health behavior and health promotion research, although conceptual abstracts are also welcome.

We hope you will submit an abstract and attend the meeting!

If you have any questions about the abstract submission or review process, please contact Dr. Dong-Chul Seo at (812) 855-9379 or at seo@indiana.edu
