Subject: Programs Requiring Portfolios- Please send list through HEDIR

Mark,

When you obtain the list of programs requiring portfolios, please send the list of universities through HEDIR. Many of us would be interested in seeing the list plus the format of portfolios being used.

At Chico State, our health education undergraduates create a hardcopy portfolio. They also develop an electronic portfolio (using our template) for submitting with job and graduate school applications.

Thanks.

Mark

We’re just beginning to think about doing portfolios – yes, at the community college level.  Our community health degree program – a  gateway into a four-year health education training program – has discovered the value when it comes to placing students in 4-year colleges as well as jobs!
