Hi,
Our department is in the process of designing a new course upper level course – “Applied Epidemiology & Health Data Analysis”. Recognizing that this should probably be two courses, the reality is that we can only add “one course” to our program. I have been given the task of writing the course syllabus.
If any of you have taught a course in either or both of these areas, would you be willing to share your course outline/syllabus. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

A site that may also be useful is the What Works Clearinghouse.
It includes information on evidence-based character education and drop out prevention programs.

I would do a google search for "youth health websites" or if you are looking for products try:

“The teenagers and college students who left their homes to march in the streets of Birmingham and Montgomery; the mothers who walked instead of taking the bus after a long day of doing somebody else's laundry and cleaning somebody else's kitchen — they didn't brave fire hoses and Billy clubs so that their grandchildren and their great-grandchildren would still wonder at the beginning of the 21st century whether their vote would be counted; whether their civil rights would be protected by their government; whether justice would be equal and opportunity would be theirs. . . . We have more work to do.” — Obama 08

Subject: An Old Movie
Folks,
I need somebody with good memory…in the late 1970s there was a movie about values…it was named something like “Who you are today is what you were when”…it featured a lecture from a professor (I think from Colorado)… does this ring a bell. What I am needing is the actual title of the film…I think I’m close but it’s not it though.
Any help would be appreciated. I suspect responses just to me would be sufficient (not the HEDIR).
Thanks.

Mark: The guy was Dr. Marion Massey or something like that with the U of Colorado Dept of Psychology.(is there a U. of Denver??) ... I watched it too a long time ago (early 1970s) and then he came out with a slightly (80's?) newer version but it was not as popular as the first one. We claimed to be from Waco Texas.
