Subject: National Exam Item Writers

HEDIR Members:

We are looking for people who would be interested in writing mutiple choice questions for a national certification examination for substance abuse prevention specialists. Questions are needed to address the following professional domain areas: Alcohol, tobacco, and other drug knowledge; Knowledge and understanding of drug use/abuse behavior theories and prevention models; Strategic planning for prevention, including community needs assessment, capacity building, planning, implementation, evaluation; and Professional ethics.

We can not supply payment for your work, but the NAADAC organization can provide 6 CEUs for eight questions and a nice letter for your tenure and promotion file. f you are interested, please send me an email and additional information will be sent to you.
