      suggestions for Sue and downsizing of her program. If you are a public funded school look to your funding source for school.

Legislative and Political assistance may be needed.Nothing gets leadership better than a mandate from legislators and or loss or addition of funding. Also look to your alumini they may have funding and legislative pull to assist you. You may be dealing with an issue of who they feel is worth more and bring in in more money to school.

Hello all,

 In case anyone is interested, my commentary entitled "Debates about Fatness Increases Health Risks" was printed this week in the on-line British Medical Journal.  I wrote this in response to a pair of articles that appeared in the February BMJ entitled "Is the Obesity Epidemic Exaggerated? Yes/No".  If you would like to read these, the link is:

<http://www.bmj.com/cgi/eletters/336/7638/245#191014>

http://www.bmj.com/cgi/eletters/336/7638/245#191014  I have had a lot of feedback suggesting that this perspective is one that classroom teachers at all levels need to understand. I am interested in the response of health educators.

Best wishes,

Kathy Kater
