Good morning, HEDIRs- I am wondering if any of you are working directly with teens/young adults who are HIV positive? I am seeking some ideas, suggestions, and resources for evaluation specifically focused on prevention that is directly geared toward youth who are already HIV positive (for example, our program focuses on communicating and disclosing HIV status to partners and potential partners, as one unique area for this group.) If you have any experience or can direct me to any evaluation resources in this particular area, I would love to talk with you. Please contact me at

LLHealth@optonline.net. Thanks! Lisa

Hello Fellow HEDIRs,

=20

I am looking for prevalence data for large US cities (>=3D250 000

population). Specifically, I am interested in health-related behaviors

(eg, smoking, physical activity), disease statistics (eg, heart

disease), and receipt of preventive screenings/immunizations across

large US cities.

=20

I have looked on the CDC website and found some good information. Are

there other sources as well? =20

=20

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

Just wanted to pass on the information that if anyone is looking for a

powerful film on date rape for college audiences, one of my colleagues here

at the University of Maryland, Dr. Robin Sawyer, has just completed an

updated version of his very successful date rape film, Playing the Game.

The dramatized film depicts sexual assault and date rape from both the male

and female perspectives and is very successful at stimulating great

discussion among students.
