PhD Information

Welcome to the PhD in Health Education web page.  You can be part of the Saluki Tradition (our program has a rich history on placing our PhD graduates in universities, state and federal agencies, and a variety of public health organizations).  You can choose to study full-time (about 3 years) or part-time.  You will have the opportunity to work with faculty who take great pride in preparing you to meet the academic and professional challenges of PhD degree.  The links below provide you with information about the requirements of the degree and costs, as well as links to some of our outstanding graduates.  If you should have any questions, feel free to contact me (dabirch@siu.edu) or Dr. Mark Kittleson, our graduate director, at kitt@siu.edu.
