The mission of the Department of Health and Human Performance is to strengthen existing programs in the areas of health, illness physical education, and sport management by successfully improving the quality of the curriculum, escalating the academic achievement scores of students on standardized tests, integrating technology into the curriculum, increasing external funding through grantsmanship, improving and adding new physical resources, increasing the number of students pursuing graduate studies, and supporting the recognition of a diverse and strong faculty. The Department of Health and Human Performance offers two undergraduate degrees, the Bachelor of Science in Health Education, and the Bachelor of Science in Sport Management.
